The PoWa 20 from ABB is a six-axis collaborative robot from the CRB-1920 series, designed for industrial automation processes with higher payload requirements. It has a reach of 1.67 m at the wrist and 1.82 m at the flange. The rated payload is 20 kg; in a wrist-down configuration, payloads of up to 22 kg are possible.

For dynamic applications, the PoWa 20 offers a maximum TCP speed of 5.2 m/s at rated load and up to 7.2 m/s with a payload of 1 kg. The pose repeatability is 0.03 mm, and the path repeatability is 0.1 mm. Weighing 63 kg and with an IP67 protection rating, the robot is designed for a variety of industrial operating conditions.

Operation and programming are carried out, amongst other things, via the Wizard Easy Programming app on the FlexPendant. This allows processes to be created using a block-based approach. In addition, programmable control elements are available directly on the robot arm. For further planning and configuration, the PoWa 20 can also be integrated into ABB software such as RobotStudio and AppStudio.

For varying applications, grippers and camera systems can be connected in parallel. The integrated tool connection supports the rapid integration of compatible components and can reduce the need for additional external cabling. This allows the PoWa 20 to be used flexibly for tasks such as material handling, machine loading, assembly, palletising or screwdriving processes.
