The MAV 1500 from NEURA Robotics is an autonomous driverless transport system for intralogistics applications in production and warehouse environments. As a multi-sensing autonomous vehicle (MAV), it was designed for the independent loading and movement of various goods and performs transport tasks without additional peripheral sensors. Thanks to its integrated sensor systems, the vehicle can independently detect its surroundings and navigate. In combination with collaborative or cognitive robots, the MAV 1500 can also be expanded into a mobile manipulator solution.

With a load capacity of up to 1500 kg, the system is designed for transporting heavy loads. The positioning accuracy is ±5 mm, enabling precise transfer of goods to defined target positions. The MAV 1500 reaches a maximum travel speed of 1.5 m/s and is designed for an operating time of up to 10 hours. The dimensions are 1530 x 910 x 294 mm with a dead weight of 400 kg, making the vehicle suitable for use in confined spaces. The integrated lifting unit offers a lifting range of 0–55 mm for picking up or setting down loads. The charging time is approximately 2 hours; in addition, it is possible to increase the battery capacity by up to 200%.

The drive is powered by a differential drive, which supports precise control and flexible movement sequences. The power supply is based on 230 V at 50–60 Hz. Standardised interfaces such as Ethernet and CAN are available for integration into existing systems. IP44 protection is provided as standard, with IP54 available as an option. Status indicators on the front and sides provide visual information about the current operating status of the vehicle. In terms of safety, the MAV 1500 is equipped with 360° safety laser scanners that continuously monitor the environment. The safety concept complies with PLd / Category 3 according to ISO 13849-1 and takes into account the requirements of ISO 3691-4 for driverless transport systems. Between 2 and 32 field sets can be configured to map different operating states. The system operates with a safety zone for a safe stop and two upstream warning zones that trigger either a stop or a speed reduction depending on the situation. Navigation is based on SLAM with dynamic mapping and route planning, allowing the MAV 1500 to adapt flexibly to changing environmental conditions. A visual user interface, a mobile quick start and a PC-based GUI are available for operation. A manual driving function is integrated as an option. In the area of fleet management, the system supports functions such as formation driving and monitoring tools, depending on the number of vehicles in use. Interfaces and protocols such as Python API, ROS2, OPC UA, EtherCAT, VDA 5050 and CAN are available for connection to higher-level systems. In addition, integration into various navigation and fleet management solutions is possible. The MAV 1500 was developed and designed in Germany and is designed for continuous industrial operation in structured production and logistics environments.
