The E0509 from Doosan Robotics is a new cobot from the South Korean manufacturer that has been specially developed for working with food. With a payload of 5kg and a reach of 900mm, it can, for example, fry, or prepare coffee, pasta and ice cream. In addition, the E0509 can tap and serve beer.
When handling food, hygiene is obviously crucial. That's why Doosan has had this robot NSF certified. NSF is an institution that carries out continuous checks to ensure that a product is allowed to come into contact with food. In addition, the E0509 is protected against the ingress of dust and liquids according to IP66.
