The ASO SENTIR mat safety contact mat is a pressure-sensitive sensor to protect people and objects.
The contact mat secures the working area around the
robot: depending on the setting, stepping on the mat can either trigger an immediate stop command or be used to reduce the robot's working speed. SENTIR mat contact mats
are made from waterproof polyurethane moulding. For high
mechanical demands on the mat surface, coverings made of aluminium or stainless steel can also be applied.
