The ASO SENTIR bumper offers secure protection for
people and property and has excellent shock absorption and
trailing properties. A safe stop signal is generated when the bumper is touched so that the cobot users are protected from impacts and jamming.
The product is insensitive to external influences such as lubricants or chemicals. With more than 1 million switching cycles, the SENTIR bumper is extremely durable. Regardless of the shape, size, colour or material: the bumper can be
to your wishes!
The basic design of the SENTIR bumper consists of a foam core and a sensor with two opposing contact elements mounted on an aluminium profile.
The coating of the SENTIR bumper is made of artificial leather.
When the SENTIR bumper is touched and the sensor is activated, the switching device immediately sends a command, to the control unit.
Cable breakage and tampering are also permanently monitored by the switching device.
EG type-tested in accordance with the requirements of Annex
1 of Directive 2006/42/EC (safety category 3 / PL "d").
