The ABB IRB 4600 is an industrial robot with a payload capacity of 20 kg and a reach of 2510 mm that has been developed for a wide range of applications. It offers the flexibility to be used in various industrial environments.
Thanks to its compact and optimised design, which results in a lower weight, the IRB 4600 achieves shorter cycle times than comparable models. By automatically adjusting acceleration, the robot can efficiently avoid obstacles while ensuring high path accuracy. These features help to increase production capacity and productivity.
The IRB 4600 enables the construction of space-saving production cells, as it can be positioned close to the machines to be operated. This results in increased production output per square metre, which is particularly advantageous in confined production environments.
The robot is versatile and is suitable for machine operation, material handling, cutting, deburring, gluing and sealing, assembly, palletising and packaging as well as measuring tasks.
