The AGIBOT G2 is a wheeled humanoid robot designed for industrial and commercial applications. It is designed for tasks that combine mobile manipulation, spatial perception and AI-assisted execution, for example in manufacturing, electronics production, logistics, research, education, the service sector, or in security and cleaning applications.
Unlike bipedal humanoids, the G2 uses a mobile wheeled base. This makes it suitable for applications where stable locomotion, repeatable motion sequences and longer operating times are key requirements. The design is based on industrial-grade components and has an IP42 rating.
For manipulation tasks, the robot features two 7-DoF arms with full torque sensing. The motion structure is complemented by an anthropomorphic 3-DoF waist. Visuo-tactile sensors at the fingertips support precise pick-and-place tasks, material handling, assembly processes and guided interactions. The force-controlled arms are designed for tasks such as insertion, alignment and fastening.
Environmental perception is achieved through a combination of dual LiDARs, an RGB-D camera, multiple RGB cameras, ultrasonic sensors and an 8-channel microphone array. This sensor suite enables 360° perception of the environment and supports navigation, obstacle detection and operation in dynamic workspaces.
For AI applications, the AgiBot G2 is equipped with an NVIDIA Jetson Thor T5000. This allows larger AI models to be run directly on the robot. The GO-1 language model uses a vision-language-latent-action architecture to translate instructions into physical actions. In addition, the GE-1 world model supports the prediction of possible scenarios and the simulation of actions in visual environments. Genie RL is designed for the rapid training of new tasks.
Power is supplied via a dual-battery system with a hot-swap function. The robot achieves a runtime of approximately 4 hours per battery charge; interchangeable batteries enable continuous operation. The G2 has been tested for more demanding operating conditions, including temperature ranges from -15 °C to 50 °C, as well as for electrostatic protection and emergency braking functions.
In addition to industrial tasks, the robot can also be used for interactive scenarios. These include multi-user conversations, eye tracking, facial animations and explanatory interactions whilst performing tasks. These functions can be utilised, for example, during guided tours, in retail settings, in training environments or in reception areas.
