The SICK multiScan100 3D LiDAR sensor is a true all-rounder. Thanks to
its high-resolution 0° scanning system, it is suitable for mapping and localisation.
localisation. The sensor generates a 3D point cloud that can be used to detect
objects and people can be detected. It easily recognises falling edges and overhanging
overhanging obstacles with ease. In this way, it reliably protects mobile platforms
reliably against accidents and breakdowns. Thanks to its large operating range
the sensor is also suitable for stationary applications.
The multiScan100
can be individually configured and easily integrated.
In addition to the device, there is a continuously growing, modular
modular software kit with apps and software add-ons. A system connector for
interfaces ensures fast and flexible implementation.

Versatile in use
Whether you are looking to detect or localise, the multiScan100 3D LiDAR sensor is a good choice. With its 16 scanning systems, the sensor has a large three-dimensional field of view. This means that the multiScan100 not only detects its surroundings vertically, but also horizontally in 3D. Thanks to its high-resolution 0° scanning system, the sensor is also well suited for 2D localisation. Even when it comes to 3D environment detection of mobile platforms, e.g. for collision avoidance, the multiScan100 is the right product.
3D-Performance indoor und outdoor
Thanks to its multi-echo and filter functions and IP69K protection rating, the multiScan100 can withstand wind and weather with ease.
Large opening angle
With its horizontal 360° opening angle and its vertical opening angle of
opening angle of 65°, the sensor collects all the necessary
information necessary for objects to be correctly recognised.
Precise 3D point cloud
The 16 fanned-out scanning systems of the multiScan100 generate a 3D point cloud. This makes it easy to recognise obstacles.
One product - many possibilities
Thanks to its modular concept, the multiScan100 can be configured as required. The hardware and software of this 3D LiDAR sensor from SICK can be customised to the respective application-specific conditions. Additional digital functions can be activated using the online configurator to increase sensor performance. You can select the right apps and software add-ons for your application from a constantly growing, modular software kit. Commissioning is also easy, as SICK delivers the device with the customer-specific parameterisation and the appropriate system connector on request. Another advantage for you: You only pay for what you really need.
Modular software kit
The sensor that suits your application: Choose between
various software functions such as filter functions,
multi-echo function or reflector detection.
Parameterisation included in advance
Save valuable time during commissioning. You can store predefined parameters or configurations with the SOPAS software at the time of ordering. SICK installs them on the device before delivery.
Modular system connector
Flexible: The system connector can be mounted either on the underside of the housing or on the back of the housing. The modular concept supports different interfaces for different applications.
An all-rounder in terms of application
Thanks to its horizontal opening angle of 360° and its high-resolution
high-resolution 0° scanning system, the multiScan100 is suitable for numerous applications
applications: Its performance is not only convincing for
industrial vehicles, mobile platforms as well as agricultural and
machinery. The sensor is also used in traffic monitoring and smart cities
the sensor is also used. With the help of its measurement data, for example
vehicles effortlessly avoid obstacles.
AGVs, AMRs, mobile Plattformen und Serviceroboter
The multiScan100 reliably recognises objects, regardless of whether they are on the ground or protruding into its field of vision. It therefore helps to avoid collisions. The sensor always "knows" exactly where a vehicle is located.
Agricultural and work machinery
The multiScan100 is particularly impressive in the outdoor sector due to its
robustness with regard to shocks and vibrations. Not to forget
its high degree of protection up to IP69K and its various filter functions
such as the multi-echo function.
Traffic monitoring and smart cities
The large horizontal 360° opening angle enables detailed detailed detection of the surroundings. The sensor is therefore also a good choice for a good choice for stationary applications.
