The KUKA KR 25 R1840-3 is a six-axis industrial robot from the KR CYBERTECH-3 product family, designed for automated handling, assembly and machining tasks. It has a reach of 1,840 mm and a rated payload of 25 kg. With reduced load distances and suitable additional loads, the payload can be up to 38 kg.

The positioning repeatability in accordance with ISO 9283 is ±0.03 mm. The robot can be mounted on the floor, on the ceiling, on a wall or at any angle. Its footprint measures 370 × 380 mm, and it weighs approximately 237 kg.

The robot body has protection class IP54, whilst the robot end-effector is rated to IP67. The permissible ambient temperature range during operation is between 0 and 45 °C. The KR C5 slim-2 and the KR C5 are intended for use as controllers.

Possible areas of application include the loading and unloading of machines, parts handling, assembly, pick-and-place, palletising and packaging, as well as mechanical machining processes. Further areas of application include grinding, polishing, deburring, measuring, testing, cutting and gas-shielded welding. This means the model can be used, amongst other things, in the automotive industry, electronics manufacturing, mechanical engineering and in general industrial applications or logistics.
