CGP Coating Innovation EXCALIBUR® CLASSIC 800

The EXCALIBUR® CLASSIC 800 from CGP is a high-performance paper cutter for layer pads that has been specially developed for use in palletizing lines. It can be operated both independently and in conjunction with other machines. Thanks to its precise cutting technology, it can cut sheets of paper in various formats, including standard sheets measuring 1200 x 800 mm as well as other lengths.

The device works with a roll width of 800 mm and can process paper weighing between 60 and 300 g/m². It is suitable for both kraft paper and non-slip paper. The EXCALIBUR® CLASSIC 800 offers a high cutting accuracy of ± 1 mm and achieves a speed of up to six sheets per minute. 

To ensure easy handling, the paper cutter is equipped with a special roll transport carriage that enables the paper rolls to be changed quickly. Continuous monitoring of the roll diameter with an integrated alarm function ensures that the operator is informed in good time about the upcoming roll change. In addition, the blade and counter blade are made of high-strength steel, which ensures a long service life for the cutting tools.
