The ALTRATEC LAT Flex is a modular recirculating conveyor system for transporting components on workpiece carriers. In the standard version, the components are transported at the top and the empty workpiece carriers are returned at the bottom. At stopping points, the workpiece carriers are decoupled from the conveyor mechanism, ensuring that no build-up of load occurs. The basic version is electrically powered and requires no compressed air.

The example configuration shown comprises one metre of usable system length, the deflection heads, a 90-watt gear motor, two electromagnetic stoppers, two height-adjustable supports, and two workpiece carriers with end caps, each with a total length of 80 mm. It is designed for manual loading and unloading.

The system can be expanded with additional workpiece carriers, longer conveyor sections, extra stopping points, sensors and centring stations. Workpiece-specific mountings and the electrical installation are added separately to suit the specific application.
