The AGIBOT A2 Lite is a life-size humanoid robot designed for applications in areas such as demonstrations, education, entertainment, trade fair appearances and proof-of-concept projects. The Lite version is designed as a cost-optimised variant of the A2 series and focuses on motion rendering, performance and simple application scenarios.

Standing approximately 169 cm tall and weighing around 63 kg, the robot is of a size that enables interaction at eye level. Its design is based on human proportions and combines a sleek body with a technically inspired aesthetic.

There are 23 active degrees of freedom available for movement. These include axes of motion for the head and neck, arms and legs. This enables, amongst other things, gestures, rotational movements, choreographed sequences and bipedal walking. The maximum walking speed is up to 0.8 m/s. In the Lite version, the arms have 4 degrees of freedom; grippers are not included as standard but can be added as an option.

The operating time is up to approximately 4.5 hours, depending on the application. The battery is hot-swappable, allowing for battery replacement during operation and enabling longer operating times with additional batteries.

Movement sequences, speech, facial expressions, walking speed and duration of action can be customised. Sequences can be combined and modified using drag-and-drop. Group control is provided for the use of multiple units, enabling synchronised movement sequences. Optionally, a VR teleoperation kit can be used to record and customise movements even with limited programming knowledge.

Unlike the more extensively equipped variants of the A2 series, the A2 Lite does not feature a customer PC or a microphone. Nor does it incorporate LiDAR sensors or RGB-D cameras. The robot is therefore particularly suitable for scenarios where humanoid movement, presence and performance are the main priorities, whilst complex autonomous perception or navigation functions are not required.
