The MHM from SMC is a compact magnetic gripper that is particularly quick and easy to put into operation thanks to its plug-and-play configuration. Thanks to the integrated URCap support, programming is straightforward and user-friendly. The gripper is ideal for securely holding heavy workpieces with a powerful magnet - even for workpieces with holes or uneven surfaces.
With a maximum holding force of 200 N (at ø25 mm and a workpiece thickness of 6 mm), the MHM offers reliable fixturing. The holding force is maintained even when the air supply is switched off, which ensures additional safety in the process. Connection is simple via an air connection and an electrical M8 plug connector. In addition, an integrated solenoid valve, an auto switch and an adjustable piston speed are included as standard. This makes the MHM the ideal solution for flexible and efficient handling tasks in automated applications.
