The Magswitch D120 from Magswitch is an innovative tool that is characterised by its performance when destacking and lifting thin sheets. It utilises multipole flat field array technology, which allows it to grip materials that are challenging for conventional magnetic tools.

The D120 is designed as a pneumatic device and offers a reliable and powerful solution for material handling applications. It is specially designed to destack thin materials where other magnets are not sufficient. However, its use is limited to contact with ferromagnetic surfaces, which guarantees safe handling.

Pneumatic activation is required for operation, which takes place via two G1/8 (1/8 BSP) air connections. The required activation pressure is 58 psi (4.0 bar). The D120 is designed for a maximum pressure load of 87 psi (8 bar).

The device has a magnetic pole area of 54.0 mm x 50.0 mm and a weight of 1.3 kg. It is suitable for a wide range of material thicknesses, from 0.5 mm to 5.0 mm, and achieves a maximum holding force of 1133 N.

Operation is possible up to a temperature of 80 °C.
