The D12 is a magnetic gripper from Magswitch that specialises in the precise handling of small and thin metal parts. Utilising Shallow Field Array technology, the D12 offers an effective solution for destacking and lifting thin materials, which is often difficult with conventional magnets.

The magnetic gripper is designed for use with compressed air and has several mounting options. The D12 can be used with or without a friction lining to optimise the holding and shear forces depending on the application. The friction lining is pre-assembled as standard, but can be replaced with a rubber band kit, which is also included in the scope of delivery.

Installation of the rubber band kit and the friction lining kit is quick and easy, although the surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned before installation to ensure optimum adhesion.
