The DH-5-6 from DH-Robotics is a five-fingered, anthropomorphic robotic hand designed for applications in humanoid robotics. It is designed to grasp, hold and position objects, and its structure and mobility are modelled on those of a human hand.
The hand features several articulated axes, enabling different types of grips and the handling of objects of various shapes. It can optionally be fitted with tactile sensors on the fingertips and palm to detect contact and pressure whilst gripping and to adjust the gripping movement accordingly.
The DH-5-6 is intended, amongst other things, for research and training, the collection of motion data, and robotic applications such as care support, material handling and household organisation. It connects via standard industrial communication interfaces, allowing integration into suitable robotic systems.
