The Effecto OG-A is a self-locking two-finger toggle gripper developed for heavy industrial applications. This gripper is characterized by a high gripping force and offers a 180° jaw opening, which allows maximum flexibility when gripping components. This can often be achieved without an additional gripper stroke. The gripper mechanism is guided over the entire stroke and the toggle mechanism is self-locking in both end positions, preventing loss of the workpiece in the event of pressure loss.
The opening angle of the gripper is adjustable and a special jaw mounting system enables fine adjustment of the gripper jaws. The mounting surfaces of the gripper are accessible from two sides, which enables flexible mounting. The OG-A has integrated permanent magnets for direct monitoring of the piston position and mounting slots for the installation of sensors for status monitoring. The gripper can be supplied with air either via a screw fitting or tubeless via a direct connection.
