The CoboShift ATC18 from Robot System Products is an automatic tool changer that has been specially developed for use with collaborative robots (cobots). With a maximum payload of 18 kg, it enables efficient changeover between different tools, increasing the flexibility and productivity of robotic applications.
A key feature of the ATC18 is the patented TrueConnect™ locking system, which ensures a safe and reliable connection between the robot and tool. This system does not require exact alignment before docking, as the mechanism itself enables precise repeatability.
The tool changer is compatible with various media modules that enable the transmission of electrical signals, compressed air and other media directly through the changer. This reduces the need for external cables and hoses and contributes to a tidy and efficient robot installation.
Thanks to its compact design and robust construction, the CoboShift ATC18 is suitable for a wide range of applications in collaborative robotics. It is designed to fulfil the requirements of modern manufacturing processes and facilitate the integration of cobots into existing production lines.
