The ZXPE from SMC is a compact vacuum gripper that does not require an external air source. Thanks to the integrated vacuum pump, operation is possible simply by connecting an electrical plug connector.


The components required for adsorption, such as the vacuum pump, vent valve, pressure monitoring and suction cups, are combined in one unit. This significantly reduces the installation effort and enables easy integration into a wide range of automation solutions.


The ZXPE impresses with its energy-efficient operation with a power consumption that can be reduced by up to 64 % compared to conventional systems. Operation is possible in either automatic or manual mode.


Weighing just 556 g, the gripper is ideal for applications where a low dead weight is crucial. A wide selection of suction cup variants ensures that a wide variety of workpiece shapes can be handled safely.


The gripper complies with the ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6 standard and can therefore be easily connected to common robot systems.
