The ZGS area gripper from SMC is an efficient palletising solution that requires very little installation work. All important peripheral devices are integrated into a single unit, making the gripper very compact. With its 400 x 240 mm foam gripping surface, workpieces of different shapes and sizes can be gripped efficiently.
Vacuum generator assembly, foam suction cup, supply valve, ventilation valve and pressure switch are integrated into each vacuum generator unit and can be used immediately by simply connecting an M8 connector and compressed air supply.
The maximum holding force is 2144 N and the gripper weighs 3.9 kg. The gripper can be mounted on industrial robots and collaborative robots: Universal Robots, OMRON/TECHMAN, FANUC and Yaskawa
