The OnRobot 2FGP20 Fork is an electric palletising gripper that lifts cartons from below using a fork and secures them with an upper clamp. With a payload of up to 16 kg and a gripping range for carton heights of 100 to 450 mm, it is suitable for handling cartons of various sizes.

There are four OnRobot forks to choose from: narrow short, wide short, narrow long and wide long. These cover carton widths from 120 to 400 mm, whereby at least 60 per cent of the carton must be supported by the fork. For larger cartons, bespoke forks can be used; for smaller ones, a bespoke upper clamp. The total stroke is up to 260 mm at the fork and up to 218 mm at the clamp; gripping repeatability is ±0.5 mm.

In addition, the gripper features a vacuum solution for cardboard or paper interleaves. The integrated electric vacuum pump generates a vacuum of up to 60 per cent (-0.607 bar) at an air flow rate of up to 12 l/min; with the accessories supplied, loads of up to 2.5 kg can be handled. Up to four suction cups can be arranged in a square or in rows; a replaceable 50 µm dust filter is integrated.

The gripper is powered by 24 V, holds the workpiece securely even in the event of a power cut and is rated to IP54. With a narrow, short fork, it measures 473 x 188 x 504 mm, weighs 8.5 kg and operates at temperatures between 5 and 50 °C.
