The elastic gripper jaw MH-X7654 from SMC is designed for applications where flexibility and adaptability to different workpiece shapes are required. Thanks to advanced elastic materials, it is able to securely grip even unusually shaped or irregular workpieces.
There are two finger materials to choose from: EPDM (ethylene propylene rubber), which is characterised by high abrasion resistance, and an FDA-compliant silicone, which is particularly suitable for applications in the food industry. Both materials can be used for different temperature ranges - EPDM between -20 and 150 °C, silicone between -30 and 200 °C.
The gripper jaw has a slim design with a width of just 3 mm, making it particularly suitable for confined spaces. Its effective gripping surface is 58 x 60 mm. The flexible design of the fingers ensures gentle handling of delicate workpieces, as they can adapt to their shape and thus prevent damage.
The jaw can be mounted in two different directions to enable the best possible integration into the respective application.
