The Schmalz ZLW lightweight layer gripper offers a suitable solution for palletizing with smaller robots and cobots. Thanks to its innovative design, it enables sustainable and efficient palletizing and depalletizing processes. The flexible sealing elements of the gripper are able to grip packages of different shapes, dimensions and surfaces.
The gripper is characterized by a low weight, which leads to increased process efficiency and reduced acquisition costs, as robots with a lower load capacity can be used. The variable gripping surface is optimally adapted to the position of the workpieces and equipped with flexible sealing elements. In addition, the optimized design of the suction grid ensures high energy efficiency by minimizing the power required to generate the vacuum.
The ZLW is available in various sizes and materials to meet different requirements.
