The PGIA-140-80 from DH Robotics is an industrial electric parallel gripper designed for automated handling, loading and unloading processes. Its gripping stroke of 80 mm allows it to handle workpieces of varying sizes. Adjustable parameters, an integrated control system and interchangeable fingertips make it easy to adapt to different applications.
The model offers an adjustable gripping force of 40 to 140 N per gripper jaw and is designed for workpieces weighing up to 3 kg. The manufacturer specifies a positioning repeatability of ±0.02 mm. A mechanical self-locking mechanism ensures the workpiece is held securely in the event of a power failure.
The PGIA-140-80 measures 97 × 62 × 86 mm, weighs 1 kg and is powered by 24 V DC. Standard interfaces include Modbus RTU via RS485 and digital inputs and outputs; further interfaces are available as options. With an IP54 protection rating, the gripper is protected against dust and splashing water and is designed for ambient temperatures ranging from 0 to 40 °C.
