The Effecto EIG3 is a compact, servo-electric 3-finger gripper with three symmetrical base jaws that face each other precisely. Its smooth body enables flexible assembly. The gripping force and position of the EIG3 are programmable, as are the opening and closing times, which can be controlled via the speed.
The device offers comprehensive grip feedback and part detection, with gripper status readable via a PLC/controller and visualized by LEDs on the device. The EIG3 also supports multiple communication modes, including Modbus RTU protocol and IO mode. Other protocols such as USB and Ethernet can be implemented via a protocol converter, which facilitates integration into a wide range of systems.
