The SICK sensingCam SEC100 is an industrial streaming camera for process monitoring, documentation, and error analysis. It supports streaming, image capture, and event video recording to track processes and malfunctions.

Ethernet and a REST API are available as communication interfaces for integration into existing systems. Configuration is carried out via an integrated web server, so no separate software installation is required.

The SEC100 works as a 2D snapshot camera with streaming and event recording functions. The sensor is designed for low-light applications and uses rolling shutter technology. The sensor resolution is 2,880 × 1,616 px, and the detection angle is 82° × 52°.

Events are recorded and stored in MP4 video format. An internal buffer enables pre- and post-recording depending on the resolution: up to 10 s at 2,880 × 1,616, up to 20 s at 1,920 × 1,080 (Full HD), and up to 40 s at 1,280 × 720 (HD) and below. A digital input or a software trigger via the REST API can be used to trigger event recordings.
