The Inspector611 from SICK is an ultra-compact 2D vision sensor for industrial use. It features integrated, high-quality lighting and is designed for inspecting small to medium-sized objects. Color imaging supports applications where color characteristics are relevant for inspection and differentiation.

Parameterization and operation are carried out via an intuitive web user interface. A Quality Inspection Toolset is available for inspection tasks; an AI-supported Intelligent Inspection Toolset can be used as an option. The sensor can be integrated into environments that support SICK Nova, SICK AppSpace, and HALCON.

Typical tasks include detecting standard objects and measuring dimensions, contours, and volumes. Counting tasks are also possible. For identification, the Inspector611 supports reading 2D codes, OCR, pattern recognition, and classification and sorting functions. 2D position determination is provided for position information.

Technically, the Inspector611 is based on a CMOS color image sensor with global shutter technology. The optical focus can be adjusted manually. The working range is 50 mm to 300 mm when using internal illumination and can be extended to greater distances when using external illumination. A focal length of 12 mm is specified as the lens parameter.
