The VX500 from DOBOT is a flexible industrial camera that can be mounted directly on the robot. It is compatible with DOBOT robots and has been developed as a plug-and-play solution. The VX500 is a 2.5D camera, so it can determine the dimensions in the X and Y axes, as well as the height of objects. The camera can scan barcodes and recognise text as well as determine the width and diameter of objects. It can therefore be used in the logistics sector, for example, or for loading and unloading machines. Programming is very simple and is carried out intuitively via a guided user interface.
