The LARA 8 from NEURA Robotics is a powerful cobot with a payload of 8 kg and a reach of 1300 mm. It was designed for precise automation processes in industrial applications and has six axes that enable dynamic and flexible motion sequences. With a repeatability of ± 0.02 mm, the LARA 8 is suitable for tasks that require reliable and consistent positioning accuracy. The larger reach also allows work areas with an extended radius of action to be covered efficiently, for example in handling, assembly, or palletizing processes.

Operation and commissioning are carried out via a graphical user interface that supports intuitive program creation and adaptation. Functions such as ZeroG mode, manual path recording, and programmable buttons on the flange facilitate the setup of new applications. A teach pendant with a high-resolution display complements the operating concept and supports clear process control.

For use in the immediate working environment of humans, the LARA 8 has an integrated safety concept in accordance with PLd Cat.3 / SIL2. Torque sensors in all joints enable sensitive monitoring of movements. In addition, safety-relevant parameters such as position, speed, and torque are continuously monitored. With IP54 protection, the robot is protected against dust and splash water and is designed for operating temperatures from 0 °C to 40 °C.

The LARA 8 is also tailored to industrial requirements in terms of system integration. Internal cable routing supports a clear system layout, while standardized interfaces and connection options facilitate the integration of tools and connection to existing control and production systems. This allows the LARA 8 to be integrated into both new automation solutions and existing structures.
