However, with modern machine vision and end of arm tools, this is significantly easier. Complicated Pick&Place and Assembly tasks are increasingly easy to automate thanks to advances in robotics. For example, a powerful and sensitive automation solution can be built by combining a modern cobot from Universal Robots and an OnRobot RG2-FT gripper. The RG2-FT gripper includes force and torque sensors in its fingers allowing for the precise and accurate gripping of fragile or difficult-to-hold objects.
