Surface treatment with Nordbo Mimic Kit and torque sensor + cobot from Universal Robots
In this example use case we see a Nordbo Mimic Kit combined with a Nordbo torque sensor and a UR cobot. With this combination, the robot operator is able to quickly teach the robot to perform surface treatment tasks.
The Mimic Kit is a tool from Nordbo Robotics that allows a robot operator to teach any cobot from Universal Robots through simple mimicry.
In combination with the Nordbo torque sensor, the operator can teach the robot a new surface treatment task in minutes.
This kind of set up is ideal for production lines that are high mix/low volume.
