The StartupVisCheck GmbH was founded in 2015 without investors and has specialized in sophisticated optical solutions from the very beginning. Initially in the form of contract work. From 2018 to 2022, Opdra was developed as the first official VisCheck product. VisCheck's five employees are based in southern Bavaria. The company is headquartered in the Neubiberg district of Munich.

Opdra makes it possible for the first time to automate machines/devices that have a screen but no direct interfaces. Via the screen all relevant information is retrieved, by means of a camera or a by means of a cable. On the basis of this data, any robot can be instructed. Opdra is flexible and quite easy to customize. The adaptations are made by the capable customer himself, an integrator with vision expertise or a VisCheck service technician. Remote maintenance is possible. It is important to note that screen contents are not only recognized, but scripts can also be uploaded, so that more complex logical sequences are also possible.
