The SICK 2D Machine Vision picoCam2 camera is ideally suited for use on a Sensor Integration Machine (SIM) to support complex image processing tasks, including multi-camera applications (e.g. multiple cameras on the SIM). Likewise, it is practical for the smallest of spaces. It features a screwable RJ45 GigE interface - the standard for industrial image processing - as well as industrial-grade connectors for power supply and trigger signals. Alternatively, Power over Ethernet (PoE) allows operation with only one cable up to 100 m long.

The picoCam2 is also available with 3,15 or 5,01 megapixel resolution in color and monochrome versions. CMOS image sensors use global shutter technology and allow multiple image sections (AOI).
SICK 2D Machine Vision picoCam2 can be used as a single or multi-camera system in conjunction with the Sensor Integration Machine (SIM). But also for automated machine vision applications in industries such as automotive, robotics, electronics, solar, food and beverage, for quality inspection as well as for traceability and object detection.
