Nordbo Robotics' Mimic Sander makes it easy to achieve professional and repeatable surface finishing results. Whether sanding, polishing or cleaning, this comprehensive sanding solution has everything you need.
To get started, attach the Mimic Sander joystick to your robot and use it to guide the robot by hand. The given path is stored and can be recalled automatically over and over again. No programming skills are necessary. This allows you to store different tool paths for different workpieces and reliably achieve consistent results. A force-torque sensor is also integrated into the joystick, which measures the force acting on the tool.
In addition to the joystick, also included is the Mimic Sander Interface, a touch screen with integrated computer that provides additional configurable buttons and is IP65 (front) and IP54 (back) protected against dust and water ingress.
