The Niryo Ned2, the successor to the revolutionary Ned robot, is more robust and features numerous improvements for human-machine interaction. This six-axis collaborative robot is based on open-source technologies and is ideal for education, research and Industry 4.0. With the same aluminum structure that underpinned the older Ned Robot, Ned2 surprises you with exceptional robustness, precision (0.5 mm) and repeatability of 0.5 mm. Another highlight is the injection-molded plastic cover, so the net weight of the robot is even lower.
Thanks to the new servo motors with Silent Stepper Technology, the robot's operating noise is significantly quieter. An LED ring present on the robot, as well as loudspeakers, trigger visual and audible signals that indicate the robot's status.
To enhance the interaction with Ned2, there is a control panel on the wrist that allows you to manipulate your robot's arm with the press of a button. Simply activate the "Freemotion" mode, move the robot to the desired location and save its position in Niryo Studio. Likewise, you can also program a special button to suit the specific needs of your project.
